How many events do you host each weekend?
Just one. When you book Ovation, the entire property is yours for the weekend. We don’t host Friday events, that time is reserved exclusively for your setup and rehearsal.
What’s required to reserve a date?
A 25% retainer holds your date and is refundable until one year before your event. We are a first-come, first-served location, so if your heart is set on a specific date, please reach out as soon as possible to check if it is still available.

Yes! For many years, our property lived by another name: Footlight Ranch and the Keys Restaurant. We love and celebrate our history and are excited to bring it to a new chapter.

Can I pet the Dog?
Yes! He likes ear scratches but is normally just along for the tour. His name is Milo, and he is a 4-year-old goldendoodle.

How far is Ovation from York, PA?
About 20 minutes northwest of York, in Wellsville, PA. We're easy to reach from York, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, and the surrounding area, most of our couples are within a 45-minute drive. Address is 380 Kralltown Rd, Wellsville, PA 17365
Do you allow outside caterers and vendors?
Yes, and that's intentional. We don't have a preferred vendor list you're required to use. Bring the caterer your family loves, the florist you've followed for years, or the food truck that started it all for you as a couple. Our job is to be the space. The people who fill it are yours to choose.
What makes Ovation different from other wedding venues in Pennsylvania?
A few things. We rent the full property for a full weekend, so you're never rushed and never sharing the day with strangers. We don't require you to use specific vendors. The two getting-ready spaces are named for the property's real history, not invented branding. And there's a working grass airport next door, which makes for unexpectedly great photos.
What is included in the weekend rental?
The full property for the weekend! No overlapping events, no sharing with another couple. That includes the chapel, the amphitheater, the covered deck, the stone patio, and both getting-ready spaces: The Greenroom and The Pilots Lounge. 2026 Booked Founding Couples also receive day-of coordination at no additional cost.
Does Ovation welcome LGBTQ+ couples?
Completely and without qualification. Every couple, every configuration, every way of building a life together. Our spaces are flexible, our team is affirming, and you will be celebrated here exactly as you are.
Can Ovation host events other than weddings?
Yes. We host corporate events, charity galas, family reunions, milestone celebrations, markets, retreats, and community gatherings. If you're looking for an event space in York County that isn't a hotel ballroom or barn, this is worth a look.
Are there outdoor wedding venues near Harrisburg, PA?
Ovation is about 35 minutes from Harrisburg in York County, PA. The amphitheater is our main outdoor space -- a covered deck, open-air stage, and stone patio that looks out toward a working grass airstrip. It's one of the more unusual backdrops you'll find in central Pennsylvania.
